1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to this page and any related pages operated by Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry ("we," "us," "our"), located at 13135 Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy, Suite 110, Fairfax, VA 22033. By using this page, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this page.

2. For Parents and Guardians

This page is intended for parents and legal guardians seeking dental care for their children. Appointments for patients under 18 must be scheduled by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing consent for treatment and for the patient's account.

3. Not Dental Advice

The content on this page is for general information only. It is not dental or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for an in-person exam by a licensed dentist. Using this page or calling our office does not create a dentist-patient relationship. A dentist-patient relationship begins only after your child is seen in our office. If your child has a dental emergency, call our office at (703) 584-5988. For a medical emergency, call 911.

4. Results Vary

Treatment outcomes depend on each child's oral health, history and home care habits. We do not guarantee any specific result. Photos, reviews and testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of similar results.

5. Sedation, Laser and Other Treatment Recommendations

Sedation, laser frenectomy and all other treatments are recommended only after an exam and a discussion with a parent or guardian. Not every child is a candidate for every treatment or sedation option. Same-day emergency visits are offered when available.

6. Insurance and Payment

• We accept most dental insurance plans, including Medicaid. Coverage and eligibility vary by plan, and a plan name appearing on this page does not guarantee coverage for any specific service.
• We confirm benefits with your insurer where possible, but final coverage is determined by your plan. You are responsible for any amount your plan does not cover.
• Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made with our office.
• Any treatment will be explained before it begins.

7. Pumpkin Smiles Membership Plan

• The Pumpkin Smiles Membership Plan ($450 per year, per child) includes 2 check-up exams, 2 professional cleanings, 2 fluoride treatments, 1 set of routine x-rays, 1 emergency exam, and 15% off additional services and treatment.
• The membership plan is not insurance.
• Membership begins when we receive the signed, completed contract and full payment, and lasts one year for each child from that date. The fee is due annually to keep the membership active.
• The patient account must have a zero balance for the membership to become active.
• Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Plan details, discounts and pricing are subject to change. Full plan terms are available from our office.

8. Calls and Text Messages (SMS Terms)

• When you call us, our phone system may log your phone number and the time and length of your call so we can return missed calls and measure how our advertising performs.
• SMS program: If you consent to receive text messages from Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry, you agree to receive customer care messages from us, such as replies to your inquiry, appointment reminders and follow-ups.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (703) 584-5988.
• Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No mobile opt-in consent or phone numbers will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

This page may include content or links from third parties, such as Google Maps and Google reviews. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those websites or services. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All text, images, logos and design elements on this page belong to Pumpkin Pediatric Dentistry or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our written permission.
